A VRU plays a crucial role in our terminal operations. During the loading and storage of volatile products, vapors are released. These vapors contain valuable product components but can also be harmful to people and the environment if released into the atmosphere. The VRU captures, recovers, and treats these vapors so they can be reused in the process. In this way, we reduce emissions while also preventing waste.
With the addition of this second VRU, we increase both our capacity and our responsibility. The installation reinforces our ambition to maintain the lowest possible environmental footprint in our sector. This aligns with our continuous focus on innovation and operational excellence, where safety and sustainability always remain central.
